Hello Molly

This summer, I had the opportunity to work as a Public Relations Intern at the creative PR agency BLKpr. Through this internship, one of my tasks was researching, developing, planning, and attending the Australian fashion brand Hello Molly "Pink Era" Party!

Objective

  • Our main objective was to introduce their target audience of young females to their new pink summer collection. We also aimed to advertise Hello Molly products and the brand through top-tier social media influencers.

Big Idea

  • Host an event inviting 60+ influencers to an exclusive "Pink Party" featuring Hello Molly's pink fashion line. 

Research

  • My task was to research influencers on the platform Mighty Scout. This platform provides specific data regarding an influencer's followers, comments, likes, ROI, reach, engagement, sales, reports, impressions, etc. Through this research, I helped compile a list of over 500 influencers and narrowed the invite list to 60 influencers with a plus one. To receive an invite, each influencer had to meet a specific social media engagement requirement on Instagram and TikTok platforms. After invites, we reached our attendance goal and had top-tier celebrities/influencers attend!

Accomplishments

We obtained substantial results through our event, influencers, and social media content! Some of our impressive results: 

  1. Media Value: $329,103

  2. Potential Reach: 7.7 million profiles

  3. Impressions: 69k

  4. Engagements: 55k

  5. Media Posted: 254 (including posts & stories)
